Search Console
Connect Google Search Console to review how your own website performs in Google Search.
The tool opens in your Kwordia account. Dotted links explain terms in the glossary.
Before you begin
My Site Insights shows search performance from a Google Search Console property you can access. A property is the website or part of a website registered in Search Console. Unlike competitor estimates, this information comes from the connected Google account’s reporting.
Open Technical SEO and choose My Site Insights. You will need a Google account with access to the relevant Search Console property; signing in to Kwordia does not automatically grant that access.
Using this page, step by step
- Use the Google connection option and choose the account that can access your website’s Search Console data. If the site is not registered, follow the registration link and complete that setup in Google.
- Return to My Site Insights and choose the website in Active Data Property. Check the property carefully if your account contains several sites.
- Load the performance information and read the available figures together, including clicks, impressions, CTR, and position where supplied.
- Use what you find to choose a page or search topic for closer investigation. Open Deep Audit for a page check or SERP Analysis to inspect current search results.
A worked example
A page with many impressions but relatively few clicks is being shown in search without attracting many visits. That is a useful reason to investigate its search phrases and presentation, but it does not by itself prove that its title is the problem.
Understanding what you see
An impression records an appearance in search, while a click records someone following a result. CTR expresses clicks as a percentage of impressions.
Position is a reported search-performance measure, not a promise that every person sees the page in the same place. The current Kwordia page focuses on performance; URL inspection remains in Google Search Console.
Common questions and problems
If the property is missing, check which Google account you connected and whether it has access to that property.
If the connection expires, reconnect Google. This is separate from your Kwordia login.
