Market Pulse
Compare up to five topics and explore how interest varies across time and regions.
The tool opens in your Kwordia account. Dotted links explain terms in the glossary.
Before you begin
Market Pulse helps you examine related topics together. You can use it to compare changes over time and explore the regional information available for a selected search source. It is a way to investigate interest, rather than a forecast of sales.
Open Competitive Intel and choose Market Pulse. Choose up to five keywords that make sense to compare.
Using this page, step by step
- Enter your keywords and select Web, News, or Ecommerce. Choose the source that fits the question you want to answer.
- Select the date range, using the custom range when you need a particular period. Review the estimate and submit.
- Read the time and regional views to see whether the topics behave differently. Keep the same settings while comparing them.
- For Web results, inspect the demographic information if available. That view is not offered for every source.
A worked example
An outdoor shop could compare interest in walking boots and trail shoes over the same period. A regional difference could suggest a question for further research, such as whether local terrain or seasonal weather affects what customers look for. The report alone cannot establish the cause.
Understanding what you see
The views describe available interest signals for your chosen topics and settings. They do not measure the revenue you could earn from those topics.
Demographic estimates describe groups, not individual customers. Use them as context alongside what you know about your audience.
Common questions and problems
If there is no demographic view, check the source: demographics are available for Web only.
If a comparison feels unhelpful, replace an ambiguous phrase with a clearer one and check the date range.
