What it means
CPC stands for cost per click. It is an advertising measure describing the cost associated with a click on an advert. In keyword research, it gives context about paid search activity. It is separate from the difficulty of earning an unpaid search ranking and from the cost of running a report in Kwordia.
An example
If a keyword has a reported CPC of $2, that does not mean looking it up in Kwordia costs $2. Your Kwordia request has its own usage estimate. The advertising figure also does not tell you how much revenue a visitor will generate.
How this helps you in Kwordia
Read CPC alongside the relevance of the phrase and its search volume. A high value can make a topic worth investigating, but it is not enough reason to create a page. Use the usage estimate, History, and Billing to understand Kwordia’s separate charges.
